Anyii Bible Translation Project

The Anyii Bible Translation is the vision of Bishop Joseph Quainoo. It is a collaborative effort by the local Council of Churches in Anyii (Aowin) and (GILLBT) Linguistics, Literacy and Bible Translation to confer the Anyii language, an oral language into writing and then translate the New Testament into Anyii. A transgenerational work, the Anyii Bible Translation Project will enable the Anyii people to read the Bible in their own “mother tongue”.

Bishop Quainoo has completed Phase I of a two-story office building that will house the Translation Project Office. Land for the Office space was donated by Bishop Quainoo and his family. The space will provide several offices for Translation work, conference rooms and several classrooms for training and workshops.

Sharing Christ’s Love to the Nations is demonstrated in a very real way in this effort to make the Gospel accessible to the Anyii people of the western region of Ghana, West Africa.

Donations are welcome. Your tax-deductible contributions can be given On-line.
